The Dagger: Amazing 3D Printed Super Bike
Los Angeles became a venue for the most fascinating super bike show with perfect blend of class and style. Every bike enthusiast had dream with super looks and design. This bike managed to pull hundreds of viewers to see the bike.
The bike is ‘The Dagger’ which is incredibly fashioned and display just after one day it is finished. It used 3D printed chassis as carbon fiber structure for making 50% lighter then the usual bike materials. Due to this it is more fuel efficient on road and also with carbon fiber structure made incredibly strong.
The Dagger is quite differenet from 3D printing bikes such as APWOKS Light Rider and Energica Ego. It is more into bike’s fuel effiency and performance.
Most of the bike used 3D printed only parts like gearheads, motor etc are taken from Kawasaki H2 sport bike. They strongly focused on 3D technology printing in future
After super entry of 3D bike now the company is more focused in improving their manufacturing process and collaborating with bigger companies PSA Group to make 3D printing technology standard for automobile companies.
Divergent 3D CEO Kevin Czinger talked about this aim,
“The partnership with PSA Group is to bring about standard vehicles built on our technology in the next few years. These cars are showing how creative and diverse and divergent you can be if you have the tools and a low cost way to build cool stuff.”
