Salman Khan case of Blackbuck, Chinkara Poaching was jailed out by Rajasthan HC
Sultan of Bollywood Salman Khan who was basking under the glow of the success of his latest movie release Sultan on Monday cleared in all cases from the 18-year old blackbuck and Chinkara poaching cases by the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur.
The court held that the bullets recovered from the animals were not fired from salman’s licenced gun. The driver of the jeep who drove salman and his co- stars on their alleged hunting mission has been missing since then. The case has no evidence against the movie star, weakening the prosecution’s case.
Salman khan was jailed in 2007 for nearly a week in the chinkara case.
Salman Khan was staring at anything between 1-year and 5-year jail terms respectively which were struck on him by a lower court – Salman had gone to the high court in appeal against that judgement.
Two animals were killed, one was at Bhawad on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998, and the other at Ghoda Farms on September 28, 1998.
This incidents has happened when the actor with his co-stars shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.
